I purchased my 1968 Mustang about 6 years ago, it had 79,252 miles on the clock at the time. It is a basic C-code 289 coupe with factory A/C, automatic, power steering and a vinyl roof. It is unrestored except for a repaint in the original Brittany Blue and still has its original white vinyl roof. The door jambs, under hood, trunk and underside are original paint. Since it was built after January 1st 1968 it has shoulder belts and the numbers matching VIN stamped block. It was originally purchased by a Delta Airlines pilot in 1968 and has been a Dallas car its entire life.

Being an unrestored car, it drives like 1968 except for the radial tires. Having all of the original sheet metal with no signs of the car ever being disassembled, it doesn’t have the rattles and squeaks that some restored cars possess.

The only upgrades since I bought the car was adding correct 68 date coded styled steel wheels, trim rings, hub caps and a never before used 1968 Texas year of make license plate. Otherwise it is as it was built on July 15th 1968.
